Trio lead at Pulheim after round two

Kiradech Aphibarnrat, Raphael Jacquelin and Henrik Stenson lead the BMW Open in Pelheim after the second round.

Kiradech Aphibarnrat of Thailand shot a day-best eight-under 64 to join Raphael Jacquelin and Henrik Stenson at the top of the leaderboard after the second round of the BMW International Open at Pulheim on Friday.

Aphibarnrat had seven birdies and an eagle on the par-5 No.13 in his late charge as the three leaders finished at 11 under .

Jacquelin of France shot four under, while Stenson was seven under for the day, despite still being bothered by a right-knee injury.

The Swede won the event in 2006 and was runner-up the last two seasons.

Masters champion Danny Willett missed the cut after shooting two under.

Switzerland's Thorbjoern Olesen was one shot behind the leaders, with Zander Lombard of South Africa two shots off the lead.

The highest Australians in the field are Marcus Fraser and Nick Cullen, both three under and part of a nine-way tie for 31st.
