Trust Liberals on super: Morrison

Treasurer Scott Morrison has reassured Australians they can trust the Liberal Party to stand by its values and protect superannuation savings.

Treasurer Scott Morrison has indicated the government won't try to raise revenue from superannuation, despite it being considered as an option in the tax white paper.

While repeating the government's line that it won't rule anything in or out, Mr Morrison also reassured Australians of the Liberal Party's view that superannuation savings should be protected.

"I think (the public) can trust the Liberal Party on its values on this," he told 5AA radio in Adelaide on Friday, adding the government would "have more to say" before the end of the year.
