Two Liberal MPs have told ABC journalist Julia Baird that Malcolm Turnbull contacted them seeking support for the Liberal leadership, Ms Baird has tweeted.
Baird tweeted the information this afternoon, amid mounting pressure on Prime Minister Tony Abbott over his leadership.
