Turnbull to live in The Lodge

Tony Abbott never got to live there, but when renovations of The Lodge are done, that's where new Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull will stay in Canberra.

Malcolm Turnbull will live in The Lodge, the prime minister's official residence in Canberra.

His predecessor, Tony Abbott never got the chance to stay there because it was undergoing extensive renovation during his time in office.

"When Lucy and I are in Canberra, that's where we'll live," Mr Turnbull told ABC radio on Monday.
