Turnbull will jet to G20 meeting in Turkey

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull is still working out a program of international trips but says he will attend the November G20 meeting in Turkey.

Malcolm Turnbull's first major overseas trip as prime minister will most likely be the G20 summit in Turkey.

Mr Turnbull told Sky News his travel program was still a work in progress and exactly what his first overseas trip would entail was yet to be settled.

But the G20 leaders' meeting on November 15 and 16 would certainly be the first substantial multilateral gathering he would attend, he said.
