The account, En Memoire, was set up by Mashable and gives the name, age, nationality and a short description of the victims, as well as a photograph.

The descriptions are short, touching and poignant and have been posted regularly since early this morning, Australian time.

"Luis Felipe Zschoche Valle, 33, Chile. A musician, he lived in Paris for 8 years with his French wife" reads one post.

Anothers says: "Guillaume Decherf, 43, France. A music journalist and father of two".
