Self-proclaimed Islamic sheik Junaid Thorne has had his Twitter account suspended for a third time.

The preacher has attracted the attention of authorities since he was deported from Saudi Arabia in July 2013 after being detained for protesting his brother's imprisonment on terror-related charges.

The 25-year-old has also drawn the ire of Australians online after posting his support for the Charlie Hebdo massacre in Paris, publicly defending slain Melbourne teenage terrorism suspect Numan Haider and allegedly delivering lectures at controversial Islamic centres.

On Tuesday, Thorne posted on Facebook that his Twitter account had been disabled for a third time.

Twitter accounts are suspended when a user violates the service's rules or if an account is suspected to be hacked or compromised.

Thorne appeared in Perth's Magistrates Court last month, accused of using fake identification for domestic flights.

His bail terms prevent him from applying for a passport and travelling overseas.

The court heard at the time that Thorne had lost his old passport and it had been cancelled by authorities.

Thorne, who recently moved from Perth to Sydney, is not required to appear in person at his next court hearing in April.

His father has previously urged Thorne to keep his opinions to himself, stating that he should stop "mouthing off".
