Two arrested in SA drug lab raid

Police found a drug laboratory and chemicals believed to relate to the making of methamphetamine during a raid in Adelaide.

Two people have been arrested after police discovered a drug laboratory in an Adelaide home.

Chemicals believed to relate to the making of methamphetamine and a drug lab were found when officers raided the Allenby Gardens home on Saturday afternoon.

Police also found about 10 grams of methamphetamine, 1kg of dried cannabis, prescribed equipment used to cultivate hydroponic cannabis and a Taser.

Officers arrested a 36-year-old man from Allenby Gardens and a 39-year-old woman from West Hindmarsh for manufacturing a controlled drug, trafficking a controlled drug and possessing prescribed equipment.

Both have been remanded in custody to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.
