Two boys missing in northern NSW

Two young boys have been reported missing in the New England region of NSW after they failed to return home on Friday afternoon.

Two young boys have disappeared in the New England region of NSW.

Taj Burgess, aged nine, and his seven-year-old brother Kai were last seen around 4.40pm on Friday riding their bikes near Lincoln Street in Gunnedah.

Police were notified around 5.30pm when they failed to return home.

It's believed the boys may be travelling to Singleton with their father.

Police and family members extremely concerned for their welfare.
