Two boys on Vic roof refuse to come down

Police have spent an hour trying to coax two young boys off the roof of a Melbourne sporting club.

A young boy has been arrested and another questioned after they climbed onto the roof of a Melbourne sporting club and refused to come down.

Police were called to the club in Preston on Monday morning and found the two boys, aged 11 and 12, on the roof of the single-storey building.

They were on the roof for an hour before being coaxed down by police, who arrested the 12-year-old and took the 11-year-old in for questioning.
