Two charged, man in coma after Syd brawl

A second man has been charged over a fight in Sydney that has left another man in a coma in hospital.

A second man has been charged over a brawl that has left a Sydney man in a coma.

Police arrested two men, aged 27 and 30, on Bronte Road in Bondi about 1am on Saturday following a fight with a 29-year-old man who is now in intensive care in St Vincent's Hospital with serious head injuries.

The older of the accused pair has been refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Sunday, charged with recklessly cause grievous bodily harm.

The 27-year-old has been granted bail and will face Waverley Local Court on September 24 charged with affray.
