Two dead in SA road crash

Two men have died in a road crash in South Australia with a third man also critically injured.

Two men have died in a road crash at Tantanoola, in South Australia's southeast.

Police say the pair were involved in a two-car crash at about 10pm (CST) on Thursday on Canunda Frontage Road.

They were both in the same car with a third man in that vehicle airlifted to hospital in Adelaide in a critical condition.

The sole occupant of the second car was also hospitalised but was not seriously hurt.

The crash takes the South Australian road toll for 2014 to 31 compared to 35 at the same time last year.
