Two men charged over Vic NYE murder

Two men have been charged over the drive-by shooting murder of a young Victorian man on New Year's Eve.

Two men have been charged over the murder of another man in a drive-by shooting in Melbourne on New Year's Eve.

Nathan Knight, 24, died from facial injuries after he was shot at a home in Lalor on the afternoon of December 31, 2015.

Police on Friday say they have charged a 29-year-old Epping man with murder and a 33-year-old Fawkner man with being an accessory to murder and the pair, who are on remand at correctional facilities for unrelated matters, will face the Melbourne Magistrate's Court on Monday.
