Two men charged with assaulting teen

Two 22-year-old men have been charged after allegedly attacking a teenager on the Gold Coast.

Two young men are accused of punching a Gold Coast teenager in the face and stomping on his head.

The 19-year-old was attacked early on Sunday morning in Broadbeach and after a security guard intervened, he was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital with serious head and facial injuries.

Two men, both aged 22, have been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm whilst in company and will appear at the Southport Magistrates Court on August 10.
