A man and a woman have been charged in connection to the brutal killing of Sydney man Brendan Vollmost.
It follows early morning raids on Thursday at homes in Sydney's west, where police arrested four men - aged between 25 and 33 - who are part of a group who call themselves the Blood Brothers.
Five months ago, Mr Vollmost, 23, had his car smashed into, was assaulted and then carried into a white Hyundai i30 at his South Windsor home, northwest of Sydney.
CCTV footage that captured the March 31 attack shows the labourer scrambling through his side fence before being chased into the backyard by four men.
Police chose not to release footage which allegedly showed the 23-year-old being put into his attackers' car, saying it was too distressing.
Mr Vollmost's body and the Hyundai i30 have not been seen since the attack.
Thursday's arrests were made following "significant information" from the public.
"They are a group that are involved in drug activity in Windsor and that area," Detective Acting Superintendent Mick Sheehy told reporters in Sydney.
Follow the arrest of the four men on Thursday, a 26-year-old man was charged him with accessory to murder after the fact, and a 22-year-old woman was charged with conspiracy to supply a large commercial quantity of an illegal drug.
All six accused will face Sydney courts on Thursday afternoon.
Investigators believe it's possible Mr Vollmost's body was inside a car, thought to be a Hyundai i30, which was taken to a scrap metal dealer.
"We have some information to lead us to believe that the vehicle was taken to a scrap metal dealers but we still have not been able to locate the remains of the vehicle," Supt Sheehy said.
