Two more charged over Qld bikie brawl

Two more alleged bikies have been arrested, almost five months on from the Gold Coast brawl that sparked Qld's controversial bikie laws.

Almost five months on from the brawl that sparked Queensland's bikie crackdown, police are still making arrests.

The latest involved two alleged members of the Bandidos outlaw motorcycle gang, who are facing riot charges over the brawl at Broadbeach on the Gold Coast in late September.

The brawl involved Bandidos members, and two members associated with the 66 Street Crew, a group affiliated with the Finks.

The men, aged 28 and 36, each face one count of rioting and are due to face the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday.

Detective Inspector Brendan Smith, from the bikie taskforce Maxima, said gang members who played any role in the violence have every cause to be nervous.

"We are here for the long haul. We will be relentless in our follow-up," he said.
