British prosecutors are examining a fresh file of evidence against Rolf Harris after the convicted pedophile was quizzed by police earlier this year regarding allegations of sexual offences.
The Crown Prosecution Service on Friday night (Saturday morning AEST) said it had received a "full file" of evidence after an 85-year-old man was interviewed at a police station in Stafford in February.
No charges have been laid.
"A decision will be made in due course," a spokesman told AAP in a statement without naming Harris.
The Metropolitan Police declined to comment.
Harris was interviewed under caution over two days in early February by officers from Operation Yewtree.
Yewtree was established after BBC presenter Jimmy Savile was unmasked as a prolific sex abuser following his death in 2011.
Harris was jailed in mid-2014 for indecently assaulting four girls in the UK between 1968 and 1986.
He was sentenced to five years and nine months' jail but is expected to serve less than three years behind bars.
In mid-October, a British newspaper reported Harris could face fresh charges as a result of more than 10 new victims claiming they were abused by the disgraced artist and singer.
It was also reported Harris had to be moved to a new prison for his own safety after being bullied by inmates.
The sex offender was moved from HMP Bullingdon in Oxfordshire to Stafford jail.
Harris was stripped of his British CBE honour by the Queen in March, putting him on a dishonour roll alongside the likes of Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe.
