Serbia has taken over the rotating chairmanship the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe, just as the security body faces its biggest challenge in decades, resolving the conflict in Ukraine.

Serbia enjoys close ties with Russia, but at the same time the former Yugoslav state is seeking to join the European Union.

Can it find a way through this diplomatic minefield?

Central Europe correspondent Kerry Skyring spoke to Zara Zaher about the situation, starting with how Serbia's leadership could handle the Ukrainian conflict.
