The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation has added a Western Ugandan naming system and Mongolian calligraphy among others, on its list of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
Intangible Cultural Heritage includes oral traditions, performing arts, social practices, rituals and festivals, knowledge and practices concerning nature and the universe or knowledge and skills to produce traditional crafts.
Talks are underway in Azerbaijan with delegates considering the reports of ten countries who have applied for the safeguarding of their intangible cultural heritage.
UNESCO spokesman Edmond Moukala spoke with Hannah Sinclair about what's made the list.
