UNICEF plea for South Sudanese children

The United Nations Children's Fund says up to 50,000 South Sudanese children could die by the end of the year if action isn't taken immediately.

UNICEF says nearly a quarter of a million children from the world's newest nation are at risk of acute malnutrition, and many are already resorting to eating grasses.

UNICEF's Eastern and Southern Africa spokesman James Elder spoke with Thea Cowie.
