Unidentified woman found in NSW blow hole

Police are still looking to identify a woman whose body was found face down in a blow hole on the NSW Central Coast on Sunday.

A woman found floating face down in a blow hole on the NSW central coast has not yet been identified.

Her body was discovered by emergency services at Snapper Point in the Munmorah State Conservation area at around 10.30am on Sunday.

Police are treating the woman's death as suspicious.

A Westpac Rescue Helicopter crew was called in to retrieve the body and police say they are working to identify the woman.

She has been described as of Asian appearance, aged between 20 and 35 and approximately 170cm tall.

Police say they would like to hear from anyone who visited the national park in recent days.
