The Wiradjuri are the Indigenous people of a vast proportion of New South Wales and their culture and language was greatly impacted by European settlement.

Foundation chair of Indigenous Studies at Charles Sturt University Professor Jeannie Herbert says the new course is designed to help reverse at least some of that damage.
