US-North Korea war likely, say Australian voters

A new poll shows a majority of Australian voters believe it's likely there will be war between the US and North Korea.

Most Australians believe war between the United States and North Korea is "likely".

The latest Essential poll published on Tuesday found 55 per cent of voters felt war between the two nations was "likely", with 36 per cent saying "unlikely".

Women were more likely than men to think a war was likely (61 per cent versus 49 per cent), while 45 per cent of older voters rated the prospects of conflict likely.
