The fireworks were seized during raids across three-and-a-half days throughout Glasscock County by the Midland Police Department.
A court ordered the pyrotechnics be disposed of in a controlled detonation by a bomb squad, assisted by the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, adding that the proceedure should take place in the day, as it "was not meant to be a fireworks show."
But that hasn't stopped the Midland Police Department from posting the footage to its Facebook page, where it has been viewed more than 145,000 times.
