The Vegas Golden Knights have suffered their first loss since entering the National Hockey League (NHL), losing 6-3 to Detroit.

Frans Nielsen put the Red Wings in front before the victory was sealed by Gustav Nyquist's second of the game and one from Luke Glendening. Henrik Zetterberg impressed with one goal and three assists for the visitors.
Alex Ovechkin scored his ninth goal of the season as Washington won 5-2 away to the New Jersey Devils.
The win ended a two-game losing streak for the Capitals and was the Devils' first loss in four matches since the season started.
In Friday's other matches, the Columbus Blue Jackets beat the New York Rangers 3-1, the Colorado Avalanche won by the same scoreline against the Anaheim Ducks and the Ottawa Senators thrashed the Calgary Flames 6-0.
