Venus loses to Navarro in Miami

Venus Williams has lost to Carla Suarez Navarro in the quarter-finals of the Miami Open.

Williams, who went down 0-6 6-1 7-5 to the 12th seed, was broken six times in the final two sets and double-faulted twice in the final game on Tuesday (Wednesday AEDT).

The No.16-seeded Williams is a three-time Key Biscayne champion, but her most recent title came in 2001.
