Venus Williams faces sanctioning after refusing to explain her first-round loss at the Australian Open.
The seven-time major champion was presumably too shattered to front the world's media following her 6-4 6-2 defeat on Tuesday at the hands of Aussie-born Brit Johanna Konta.
Williams will almost certainly be fined, but dropping two or three thousand dollars will be the least of the multi-millionaire's worries after having her grand slam title drought extend to eight years.

Runner-up to younger sister Venus in her only final appearance in 2003, Tuesday's loss was only Williams' third first-round exit from Melbourne Park in 16 trips.
Sadly, though, two of those have come in the past three years for the former world No.1.
While she regained her place in the top 10 last year, the American last won a singles slam at Wimbledon in 2008.
