Vettel tops final practice for Hungary GP

Daniel Ricciardo has finished fifth in the final practice for the Hungarian Grand Prix as Sebastian Vettel led the way.

Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel was fastest in final practice on Saturday for the Hungarian Formula One Grand Prix with Daniel Ricciardo finishing fifth.

Vettel, also quickest in second practice on Friday, set a track record of 1 minute 16.170 seconds as he looks to recover from last weekend's title blow in Germany.

He crashed when leading in Hockenheimring and allowed Lewis Hamilton to take the win and the lead in the standings.

Mercedes duo Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas both suffered spins, the former complaining of no grip and the latter even clipping the wall. Bottas did though rack up the second fastest time.

Ricciardo, who topped first practice on Friday, was only fifth quickest.

Qualifying follows later on Saturday with the Hungarian Grand Prix, the last before a four-week mid-season break, taking place on Sunday.
