Homicide detectives are investigating the death of an 11-month-old boy in Victoria's west.
The seriously ill boy died in Hamilton Hospital in western Victoria just before 4am on Monday.
Police are speaking to several people about his death.
Homicide detectives have joined the investigation as officers wait for the results of a post-mortem examination to see if there are any suspicious circumstances.
