An emergency warning has been issued for a fast moving, out of control bushfire threatening private properties north of Victoria's Black Range state park.

A fast moving, out-of-control bushfire is threatening private properties in Victoria's north.

The communities of Mockinya, Nurrabiel, Telangatuk and Toolondo have been told leaving now, before conditions get worse, is their safest option.

The Department of Environment and Primary Industries has issued an emergency warning and says private properties north of the Black Range State Park and the Mt Talbot area could be impacted on Monday evening.
