Vic dementia sufferer found safe

An elderly woman missing overnight from her Melbourne care facility has been found safe and well.

An elderly woman reported missing from her Melbourne care facility on Saturday has been found cold but otherwise well.

Maureen Reidy, 81, was last seen at the facility on Bluff Road in Hampton at 5pm on Saturday.

She was only wearing light clothing and needed medication for dementia.

She was found about 11am on Sunday at a school in nearby Brighton and was cold but otherwise well, police said.
