A Melbourne motorist has pulled over another driver whose blood alcohol content was more than four times the limit.

The man intercepted the Queensland woman at Frankston on Saturday night, flashing his lights and taking the keys from the ignition of her car after noticing her erratic driving.

Police say they found the 46-year-old woman trying to hide in a nearby driveway and struggling to walk, and she was charged with drink driving after returning a reading of 0.268 per cent.
