Vic girl, 12, assaulted while shopping

Victoria Police are investigating an alleged indecent assault on a 12-year-old girl as she shopped in Frankston on Boxing Day.

A 12-year-old girl has been indecently assaulted at a Victorian shopping centre, police say.

The girl was shopping with her family at a computer game store at the Frankston shopping centre at 2.30pm on Boxing Day.

While inside the store, the girl noticed a man following her.

She lined up to make a purchase and the same man stood behind her and indecently assaulted her.

The man is described as being short, unshaven with dark brown hair.

He was wearing a cap and a black T-shirt with a blue logo on it.
