Vic man charged over alleged upskirting

Victorian police have charged a 25-year-old man for alleged upskirting incidents at shopping centres in south-east Melbourne.

A man has been charged for allegedly filming up women's skirts at Melbourne shopping centres.

Police say a woman has told them that a man repeatedly put his hand up her skirt at a Mt Eliza supermarket on February 16.

The woman said she noticed the man had a mobile phone in his hand.

Another woman, working as a sales assistant at a jewellery store at Frankston Shopping Centre, has told police that on December 2 she was approached by a man who dropped things for her to pick up before she noticed a camera in his hand.

A 25-year-old Mt Eliza man has been charged with stalking, indecent assault and possession of an unregistered firearm on Thursday.

He has been bailed to appear at Frankston Magistrates Court on April 29.
