Vic man dead in Bali a business speaker

Warren Borsje, who was reportedly found dead in a hotel bed in Indonesia, was a motivational business speaker who had travelled the world.

A Melbourne man found dead on a hotel bed in Bali was a motivational speaker who "grew too big for this world", according to friends.

Warren Borsje was reportedly found lying face down by staff at the Fave Hotel in Seminyak on Australia Day.

Mr Borsje, 41, was a motivational money and property investment speaker and had appeared alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger and Mike Tyson, according to his personal website.

Messages of condolences from friends were posted on his Facebook page on Wednesday.

"Absolutely gutted! Warren was an amazing person," Marcus Olsson wrote.

"RIP Warren. You were one of a kind. Very sad day," Jenelle Watkins posted.

"Words cannot convey how sad I am to hear that you grew too big for this world," James Adamovich wrote.

Mr Borsje's website says he dropped out of high school at 13 and at 22 started a successful entrepreneur training business.

He had lived and worked in the UK, Spain, France, Gibraltar and Monaco, the site says.

Staff at the Fave Hotel, in the heart of the tourist district of Seminyak, reportedly discovered Mr Borsje's body after he failed to check out on time.

There was no indication of violence, and the room was neat, Indonesian police say.

"There is no sign of a fight in the room, as all the stuff was still neatly arranged," Kuta police investigator Dewa Tagel told News Corp Australia.

Medicines and supplements were found in the room.

An empty bottle of vodka was also found, but no drugs, police say.

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade is understood to be providing consular assistance to Mr Borsje's family.

Mr Borsje, from Brighton, died up to 24 hours before he was found on Monday local time, forensic authorities say.

His wallet and passport were in the hotel safety box and his money lay on the table.

He reportedly checked into the hotel on January 16.
