Vic off-duty cop nabbed for drink driving

An off-duty Victorian senior constable was caught drink driving during a routine intercept in the regional city of Bendigo.

An off-duty policeman has been nabbed for drink driving in country Victoria.

The western region leading senior constable was caught in a routine stop in Bendigo just before 3.30am (AEDT).

He recorded an alleged blood alcohol level of 0.052 per cent.

He was fined $443 and lost 10 demerit points.
