A Victorian teenager has been charged with drug offences after an online classified advertisement was posted selling ice.

Police in Mill Park in Melbourne's north stumbled upon an online classifieds ad offering drugs for sale.

Kenny Tang, 19, from Fitzroy North, was arrested on Wednesday and police say he was carrying seven grams of ice that he was trying to sell.

Quantities of ice, heroin and cannabis, a firearm and a large amount of cash were allegedly found in a subsequent search of a house in Fitzroy North.

He faced an out of sessions court hearing and has been remanded in custody to appear at Melbourne Magistrate's Court later on Thursday.
