Vic police swoop on African drug syndicate

Police have arrested a man who they believe is part of a West African organised crime syndicate.

A man Victorian police believe is part of a West African organised crime syndicate has been arrested in Melbourne.

David Kabba, 26, has been charged with trafficking a large commercial quantity of methylamphetamine, firearms offences and unlicensed driving after police found drugs and gun parts at his St Albans home on Friday.

He will appear before Melbourne Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
