Vic prisoner remains on the run

Police are still looking for a man who escaped from a low-security Victorian prison.

A man who escaped from a low-security prison in Victoria's north is still on the run.

Jason Robinson, 41, left the Dhurringile Prison grounds between 5pm and 7pm on Sunday.

Police believe he was heading for nearby Shepparton.

Robinson is described as Caucasian, 185cm tall, thin, with brown hair.

When last seen he was wearing green track pants, a white t-shirt and possibly a blue or green jacket.
