A petrol tanker driver has been grounded for 12 hours after allegedly returning a positive drug test in eastern Victoria.
Police intercepted the driver of the B-Double tanker, containing 37,000 litres of fuel, after a member of the public reported him driving erratically on the Princes Highway near Bairnsdale on Thursday.
The 44-year-old driver, from Frankston in Melbourne, allegedly returned a positive test for drugs but negative for alcohol.
He has been grounded for 12 hours while police await further toxicology tests.
