A teenager has been charged with murder after the shooting death of another young man near Geelong.
The 17-year-old was arrested early on Tuesday morning after he was found sleeping a car at the Corio railway station.
Police have since charged the Hamlyn Heights teen with murder over a fatal shooting in Norlane on Saturday afternoon.
Sam Birchell, 19, from Corio, died after a single shot to his chest at his girlfriend's home.
The accused teen is due to appear before the children's court on Tuesday.
