Vic volunteer fire brigade hazing details

Four hazing incidents reported at the Victorian Country Fire Authority's Eaglehawk brigade have been investigated.

FOUR HAZING INCIDENTS REVEALED IN A VICTORIAN COUNTRY FIRE AUTHORITY REPORT:

AUGUST OR SEPTEMBER 2017

* A 17-year-old girl was duct-taped to the front bull-bar of a fire truck

* The then-captain and another volunteer admitted to the incident

NOVEMBER 26, 2017

* Three volunteers lifted off the ground and thrown into a water trough despite resisting, after a community event

* CFA says alcohol was a contributing factor to the incident and noted a volunteer slipped and fell at the station while holding an open beer on the same day

NOVEMBER 27, 2017

* The brigade captain chased the 17-year-old girl and flicked her with a towel

* The teen attempted to grab the towel from the CFA captain, but she slipped and fell

* Captain "swirled" a set of keys near the fallen girl's head

* Teenager got up, flicked another volunteer with a towel and was then chased by the volunteer, who took off his thong and struck the girl, who appeared injured

NOVEMBER 27, 2017

* The teenage girl was wrestled to the ground by a male volunteer and pushed by a second young volunteer

* She was dragged along the floor by her hair and forced under a truck, where she was sprayed with water

* Four older male volunteers involved in the assault
