An elderly woman who went into her roof to check the source of a draught ended up being stuck there for four days.
The Geelong woman slipped, fell and became stuck.
She was discovered by a friend on Thursday, apparently four days after getting caught.
It took firefighters and rescue teams an hour to free her, cutting a hole in the roof of the Marshall home and lifting her down into the house on a spineboard using roping gear.
The woman, believed to be in her 70s, has been taken to Geelong Hospital.
She went up into the roof to check where a draught was coming from before she slipped and fell and became stuck, the CFA said.
