Video shows man taking on machete wielding robber

Graphic footage uploaded to YouTube reveals the moment a London pedestrian turned would be hero as he attempted to tackle a machete wielding thief.

As three robbers fled an upmarket jewellery shop in London's financial district, one of the robbers was pounced upon by a pedestrian.​  

The robber then revealed a machete, threatening the pedestrian who then retreated as the robber brandished the weapon about him in the middle of a busy street.
