The guest of honour was one time Vietnamese refugee, now Governor of South Australia, Hieu Van Le.

The Governor was welcomed to Parliament by co-hosts Liberal Party Senator Concetta Fierravanti-Wells and Labor’s Jason Clare.

Mr Clare had earlier praised the local Vietnamese community in an address to Parliament.
