The Australian women's volleyball team have a shot at ninth place at the Asian Championships in China, after defeating Mongolia.
The win sets up a match against India on Wednesday for ninth place, the same result as Australia achieved with a much more experienced team two years ago.
After several days battling illness in the team, the Australians were once again close to full strength for the clash with Mongolia but fell behind 14-8 after struggling early.
Australia bounced back to swing the match back 16-14 in their favour, and withheld a brief rally from Mongolia before winning 25-20 24-26 25-15 25-17.
