The Aboriginal Legal Service of WA has reversed its decision to withdraw its services from the Karratha and Roebourne courts, following talks with its sole funder.

ALSWA confirmed on Thursday that the services would continue after it had discussions with the Attorney General's department.

"Whilst we have committed these extra resources to ensure that our clients receive professional and much needed legal representation, this will not resolve the ever increasing court numbers in the Pilbara region," chief executive Dennis Eggington said.

"The court lists in the Karratha Court are phenomenal, with up to 120 people appearing each day."
