WA dad on sexual exploitation charges

A father charged with 230 offences over the sexual exploitation and abuse of his 13-year-old daughter with seven other men has appeared in a Perth court.

A father accused of sexually abusing his 13-year-old daughter and offering her up to seven other men over two years has appeared in a Perth court.

The father, who cannot be named to protect the victim's identity, was arrested in April following a tip-off.

He is charged with 230 offences including sexual penetration of a child, sexual servitude of a child, indecent recording of a child and stupefying with intent to commit an indictable offence.

The offences allegedly occurred when the daughter was aged between 11 and 13.

She is now safe and receiving treatment.

The father appeared in the Perth Magistrates Court via video link from Hakea Prison on Wednesday, when his matter was adjourned to October.

Police have charged the eight men with a total of 503 offences.

The father now faces an additional two charges because he breached his bail.
