Teachers and their support staff are planning industrial action against the West Australian government's education sector funding cuts.
The action is planned on April 1 by the State School Teachers' Union of WA, United Voice and the Community and Public Sector Union.
It follows a mass rally of about 15,000 angry educators and parents on September 23 last year, when more than 60 schools were closed.
On Wednesday, the unions said they would again close schools to rally at Perth's central Langley Park then march up St Georges Terrace to Parliament House to protest.
The Premier will be invited to address the crowd.
"It is no accident that we have chosen April Fools' day for this action," United Voice secretary Carolyn Smith said.
"The Premier is only fooling himself by claiming his cuts won't hurt children's education in this state."
