WA teen dad charged over baby assault

A teenage father will face a WA children's court accused of assaulting his baby in a regional hospital.

A 15-year-old West Australian boy has been charged with assaulting his baby.

Police allege the incident happened at the Bunbury Regional Hospital on Saturday night.

The teenager has been charged with aggravated grievous bodily harm.

He is due to appear in Bunbury Children's Court later on Monday.
